Terms and Conditions

Client Policies 

1. Appointment Scheduling: 

  • Appointments can be scheduled via phone, email, or our online booking system. 
  • Please arrive on time for your scheduled session to ensure you receive the full benefit of your appointment. 

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling: 

  • We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. 
  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the scheduled session will incur a late cancellation fee of 75% of the session fee. 

3. Late Arrivals: 

  • If you arrive late for your appointment, the session will still end at the scheduled time, and the full session fee will apply. 
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the appointment may be considered a no-show, and the late cancellation fee will apply. 

4. No-Show Policy: 

  • If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment and have not notified us in advance, you will be charged the full session fee. 

5. Payment: 

  • Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments. 
  • Outstanding balances must be settled before scheduling future appointments. 

6. Confidentiality: 

  • Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. All sessions and communications are confidential, in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines. 

7. Emergency Situations: 

  • In case of a mental health emergency, please contact emergency services or go to the nearest emergency room. Our practice does not provide emergency services.

  • Policy Statement: Clients will be fully informed about the nature of the services, potential risks, and their rights before beginning treatment. 

3. Billing and Payment 

  • Policy Statement: Clear and transparent billing practices will be maintained. 

4. Emergency Procedures 

  • Policy Statement: Procedures will be in place to handle emergencies and ensure client safety. 

5. Professional Boundaries 

  • Policy Statement: Maintain professional boundaries to ensure ethical and effective practice. 

6. Record Keeping 

  • Policy Statement: Accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans. 

7. Supervision and Continuing Education 

  • Policy Statement: Commitment to ongoing professional development and supervision. 

8. Client Rights and Responsibilities 

  • Policy Statement: Clients will be informed of their rights and responsibilities within the therapeutic relationship. 

9. Cultural Competence 

  • Policy Statement: Provide culturally sensitive and inclusive services. 

10. Termination of Services 

  • Policy Statement: Clear guidelines for the termination of services to ensure a smooth transition for clients.
